Fisher-Gill Camping Barn

A Lakeland stone barn and the former sheep penning area of Stybeck Farm and near to Barn-Gill House. It is ideally situated for individual walkers, groups and touring visitors, with numerous walks and places of interest within easy rech, including gill scrambling in nearby Fisher-Gill, mountain biking, fell walking and running.

A Camping Barn was originally introduced as a stone tent to keep one dry, this barn offer many extras. Mobile phones can be changed by arrangement at Barn-gill House for an addititonal charge also. Wifi is accessible from the area

Accommodation sleeps 10 people in bunk beds (mattresses and pillows provided),also includes calor gas cooker electric shower and toilet, plus a separate seating/cooking area which includes sink, electric kettle, microwave and heating (some electricity metered, heating extra). Access is approximately a quarter of a mile from the main A591 road with ample car parking beside the barn. The National coach stop is a quarter of a mile and pub/restaurant meals are also close by.
